The Good Stuff is an immersive live gospel-soul act featuring a 14-piece live band of singers and musicians performing a wide variety of reworked gospel, neo soul, RnB and pop anthems from the likes of Kirk Franklin, Hozier and Jill Scott. These uplifting voices anchored by an electric rhythm section makes for a tremendously enjoyable live show.
Curated and directed by South West-based musician Louise Victoria, the band’s ethos is predicated on conveying a message of joy and elation through the medium of sonic experience. This message is irrespective of religion and devoid of prejudice, regardless of faith; allowing the audience to fully engage with the juicy reharmonisations, emotive vocal harmonies and full-throttle energy at their own discretion. There are no cliques and no specific scene that the band fits into - it is all-encompassing and everyone is welcome.
Based in the South West, the band has been developing itself as a staple of the local gigging circuit. They have played Bristol Jazz Festival twice in a row (2023 & 2024), Jazz Stroud (2023), Wilderness (2024) and Stowaway (2024), while becoming a go-to act for establishments such as The Gallimaufry (Bristol), The Bell Inn (Bath) and The Prince Albert (Stroud).
Their shows also feature upcoming and established South West-based artists as onstage collaborators, enabling additional layers to an already impressive show.
